Chillin' at The Herron's

Hayes had a blast at Brock & Emily's house on Saturday. She wore her MSU gear just like Brock & feel fast asleep in Emily's arms. She loved their big leather recliner too!

Strolling

Do you think Hayes enjoyed strolling on Saturday?

Clarksdale Again

This past weekend I went to Memphis for a girls trip and my Mom & Dad met Jennifer and I in Batesville to get Hayes. Noni said that they were going to get rid of her "tight socks" & "those dogs"!!! Little does she know that neither of those things are going to happen :)

Hayes in her favorite Blue Chair

Hayes is finally old enough to sit in her bumbo & loves it. We have graduated from the bouncy seat to her blue chair in the morning. I put her in it in the bathroom with us while we are getting read for work and she just grins. Of course the boys can't be left out so they have put themselves in the pictures whether we asked them to pose or not!

First "Real" Babysitter

Today Meagan Scott (my Boss's daughter) kept Vivi for 2 hours and then Jennifer brought her to keep Hayes for 2 hours. It was great because Bryce is at the State game so I went to Wal-Mart all alone. Isn't that sad that I was excited about that??? She did great and loved Meagan. The trial run was a success! We officially have a babysitter. Look how cute!

Grace Gordon

Here are some cute pictures from last weekend of Hayes & Grace (Courtney Chaffin's little girl). Hayes has 2 friends with Grace as their name. This Grace is almost 1. They were so funny. Grace was eating cheese straws at Tara's shower & was really good about sharing with a 4 month old. Little did she know that Hayes couldn't have any, but it was the thought that counted!!!

4 Month Shots

I almost forgot to report that yesterday, we went to see Dr. Smith and Nurse Amy. Hayes weighed 12 pounds, 15 ounces & was 24 inches long. She thought that Amy was the greatest thing in the world because she came in and gave her one of the vaccines that is in the form of sugar water then BAM...her little face turned red and her lip stuck out & she was screaming but no sound was coming out! Two sticks in the thighs. It broke my heart all over again, but it was over really quick and she buried her head in Bryce's chest & was fine.

We have been so busy that I haven't had anytime to post new pictures! Last weekend, Hayes & I went to Clarksdale for Tara, Kellye & Jamie Parolli's baby showers. It was a lot of fun & we were very busy. On Saturday night, I came down with the stomach virus and Mom got it on Sunday. We were pitiful & I didn't have it in me to drive back to Jackson so Hayes and I stayed another night. Aunt Kiki & Cat took care of Little Hayes all day!!!! I don't know what I would have done without them because I was exhausted. This week we have been putting her down at 7 after her last bottle. We both kiss her goodnight, turn on her sound machine & humidifier & shut her door. Not a peep! She can put herself to sleep and I am so proud of her. I leave in the morning for Chicago for one night and Hayes & Bryce will be home alone. I can't wait to see how it goes. They have gotten really "tight" lately so I think Bryce is looking forward to some time with our angel. I will post more pictures from the weekend as soon as Tara and Kellye send them...my camera was on the blink. Here are a few from my Mom's camera. Have a good week!!!!

Updates

I don't have any new pictures but Hayes has done a lot of fun stuff lately. Last week at daycare, she had another fire drill. Labor Day weekend, she went to Meridian & got to hang with all of her cousins. And then today, she officially rolled over several times!!! She was on the bed with Bryce this afternoon watching football & she kept rolling towards him. It was really cute! That is all for now...I hope everyone had a fun & safe Labor day weekend & I am thankful that our coast friends are safe!
