Hayes & Mitchell

Last weekend, Bryce & I went to Memphis for a baby shower for JMac & Kendall. We stayed with Tara & Clay while the little ones were in C'dale hanging with the grandparents. Even though Mitchell is 6 months younger than Hayes, you can't tell by their size. I think they had fun on the boat & cooking out! Check out Hayes in her nightgown and sandles.

This is Not Time Out

I know that people, especially my Noni, are going to think that I did this to my child however, she did this to herself. Sunday morning when we were getting dressed for church, she started laughing out loud hysterically. We came out of the closet to see Hayes AND Gus in the crate. She even went so far as to pull the door closed. It is pretty close quarters & every time that Gus touched her, she would crack up. She loves that dog!

My Man Wesley

We cooked out at Wesley's on Saturday night & Hayes had a blast. She thinks that she and Wesley are best buds.

Chores

I have a feeling Hayes is going to be just like me and like a clean house. She is already helping me out with the chores!

Out Little Supermodel

Erin Quinn, the photographer from the portrait party that we just attended, is using Hayes' picture as advertisement. It is for a portrait session that she is donating at the MS Hall of Fame Drawdown of Champions auction. We are so proud!

Walking & Getting Bit

Hayes is officially walking. She is a little timid about it still and is not too fast but she is definately doing it. Now for what has been going on at daycare. Last Friday Hayes came home with a bite mark on her arm and then again on Tuesday. The funny part, she had an "accident report" in her box that said they disinfected it & gave her lots of hugs & kisses. I talked to Ms. Toni to see if Hayes was doing anything to provoke the other child (children). She said, "No, Hayes is so sweet!" Well yesterday I went to pick her up and she had another accident report saying that she hurt her arm while playing and almost got bit on the finger. I of course wanted more information and Ms. Toni said that she was taking pacifiers out of other kids mouths and slinging them across the room. I guess she thinks since she doesn't have a paci, no one else needed one either. She forgets that she has a THUMB! So the truth comes out, Hayes is getting bit for a reason. She is harassing the other children. Somehow this doesn't surprise me!
