Ms. Mae
Bryce and I got the sweetest note from Ms. Mae, Hayes caregiver at St. Francis. She wrote that Hayes gave her lots of hugs and kisses today and that she was such a sweet baby! That meant so much to us that she loves our little girl so much. What a wonderful thing to hear about your child! I think she is sweet of course, but it means a lot when you hear it from others. It is funny how much life changes after having a child. I am sure all of you other mothers would agree...now whoever picks up Hayes, whether it be Bryce or me, calls the other and reads off of her daily sheet each time she ate and how much, when she napped and for how long, how many times she go her diaper changed and whether it was "wet" or "dirty". It is really funny!

Just a Swingin'

Not much has happened in the past few days. We take Hayes to daycare, we pick her up, give her a bath, feed her and she goes to bed. She did have a babysitter last night. It was Brook Malpass, our new friend. She dates one of Bryce's good friends & offered to give Bryce and me a night to go have dinner. Of course instead, I wanted to run errands...oh well!!! I did take a cute picture of Hayes in her swing. She loves her swing! We are going to Clarksdale this weekend so hopefully I will have some fun pictures & stories to post. We are going to visit my Dad who was hit by a car while riding his motorcycle last Friday night. He was very lucky. He broke his leg and had to have surgery & will have to stay off of it for several months, but we are glad that was all of the damage! Please keep him in your prayers.

My Daddy
My Mommy

Well, I finally got Bryce to take a picture of Hayes & me. I have been burning up the camera taking pictures of her with everyone else in the world but the only one we had of the two of us was from the hospital when she was screaming bloody murder & I had on my hospital gown & we all know how lovely those are. Tonight I got home from work & she was sleeping on Bryce's lap. Bryce & I started talking about our days & we looked over & she was staring at me smiling so big. I guess she woke up hearing my voice & it made her so happy. It made my heart pound!!!!!! What a little blessing she is.

My First Smile
Meridian

.jpg)

Hayes made her first trip to Meridian this weekend. Papa cooked shrimp, potatoes & corn for us...in the house!!! She was so good & didn't cry one time! It was her first night to sleep in the pack n' play & it worked well for us. Taylor & Trey couldn't keep their hands off of her. I think they enjoy having a little girl around. We finally have pictures of Hayes & the McCarra side of the family. I bet Papa is happy now that he has made the blog!!!!!
