Shelby, Leslie & I took the girls to Disney on Ice Sunday. They dressed up & I think they really enjoyed themselves. Hayes literally talked the entire time asking questions & pointing out stuff on stage. It was enjoyable right until the very end which is when she asked for popcorn. I simply said that we were going home & she didn't need popcorn so the flood gates opened up. Check out the picture of the 3 girls...she was not liking her mama too much.

This morning I was straightening my hair & Hayes asked me to do hers so it would be pretty for Halloween when she dresses up like a princess. I have never done it & I know it is not great for her hair, but what could one time hurt. Look how pretty it is straight. She is very happy & will not let me pull it back. Bryce & Hayes built a scarecrow together last night. It was pretty funny! They basically built an overweight man & leaned him up against our column. I stated that he looked drunk so Bryce went and found an empty vodka bottle & filled it with water & put it in his lap. Needless to say, I did away with that before the neighbors saw it this morning. They had fun...I guess that is all that matters.

My big girl bed...not so sure about it yet!

I know that it has been a long time since I have posted. Life has been crazy! I have a lot of pictures to post. Also, we are very excited about tomorrow. Tomorrow our second little girl will be born! We jsut got back from Orange Beach with my parents, Tate & Chelsea & The Walkers. We had so much fun! Hayes HATED the sand before this trip but totally took to it when she realized that all of her favorite people liked the sand. She was unsure about the "sand water" until Uncle Tate took her into the ocean & then that was all she wrote.

Last weekend I had a girls weekend so Hayes & Bryce were home alone. Friday was "hats & shades" day at daycare so when they headed to eat Mexican after he picked her up, she was still dressed up. Her outfit was a dora ballerina outfit that had a tutu hanging fromt he pants. Bryce said she prissed in with her diva glasses on & her tutu like she owned the place. Check her out. We are so excited to find out that Baby McCarra is a girl. Her name will be Reece Anderson McCarra & we will call her Reece. Hayes is very excited about her baby sister. She told me yesterday that she liked her room but not her bed & that she wanted her baby sister to sleep in it & she wanted 2 pink beds...goodness! Guess it is time to move the 3 year old to a big girl bed. :) I will post pictures of Hayes sporting her "Big Sister" Tshirt that she is so very proud of. We actually took the pictures months ago to post on the blog to announce the new baby but we all know how that story went. It just never got done. So sorry!

My parents came in town the Thursday before Christmas & we went to Canton for the first Christmas. It was great! We rode the rides & walked around & looked at all the lights then we went into the Museum to let Hayes go to the bathroom. We were standing around looking at the singin bears when in walked Santa Claus. See picture above. Hayes froze then she began to walk up to him very slowly. He bent down to her level & she starred. He asked her what she wanted for Christmas & she said a kitchen, an orange baby & a yellow baby. Then she said, "Why do you have on a purple coat?" He very quickly responded with, "It is at the cleaners getting clean for tomorrow night." She said, "ok" like she was satisfied then she held her arms up for him to pick her up. We literally could not stop laughing. Glad "Santa" had a good sense of humor!

Hayes & I went to Clarksdale for Thanksgiving so that she could hang out with my aunts & uncles & all of my cousins. She had such a good time. It looked more like Christmas instead of Thanksgiving in the back of my car. They spoil her rotten! Tate & Bryce both had to work on the Friday after Thanksgiving so they tried to dine at Bryce's regular, Cracker Barrell, but apparantely everyone in Jackson wanted to eat Thanksgiving lunch there as well so they went to Scrooge's instead. This weekend stayed in town which was nice. We had a birthday for the Thomas twins on Saturday & a wedding on Saturday night. Hayes got her 3rd haircut & finally sit still for the first time. I think it was because she spotted the suckers on the table. The birthday party was at Pizza Inn so she rode Thomas the Train so many times it was ridiculous, ate pizza, cake & a jaw breaker straight off the ground. Fun times!

Last Wednesday Bryce turned 35 years old so I planned a surprise dinner at Tico's for his bestest friends in Jackson & their spouses. My brother, his brother & his sister came too. We had such a nice weekend staying in Jackson for the 4th. Friday night we ate Mexcian with Carey & Lauren then on Saturday Bryce ran the 5K while Hayes & I walked the 5K. Kristen & I took turns pushing Hayes & Katelyn in the double stroller & had a blast. We finished in a pretty decent time considereing while we pushed, we also were handing out scooby snacks, goldfish & juice to the girls! Then Saturday night we cooked out with Wesley & Farrel & the girls. Millie & Hayes had a blast pretending like Murphy was a pony. On Sunday after church, lunch & a nap, the Blackards took us out on their boat. The girls had fun again! I am so lucky to have such a wonderful family & such great friends!

The D-O-G rode in the front seat while I, wife & mother, rode in the backseat. It is usually Bryce & Gus alone so Gus likes the front. Well, I threw a curve ball in the plan when I went with Bryce to pick up Gus from the vet so he got in the front as usual & I went around the car & got in the back. We had so much fun at the lake for Memorial Day. I would love to say that Hayes, Mitchell & Kendall enjoyed each others company but that wouldn't be entirely true. So...Hayes & I headed to Olive Branch Friday afternoon to hang out with Michaela & Miller. Friday night was fun...they played well together. Saturday we had plans to take the girls to the zoo...well Miller woke up with fever so Hayes & I hit the road. I didn't feel like driving 2.5 hours home so we stopped off in Clarksdale for the night. So my brother moved her this weekend & he is going to be working at Fleet Feet & will apply for PT school next year. We went to help him decorate yesterday afternoon. Hayes constantly says, "My Tate! My Tate!". The kid loves him! Here is a picture of Hayes & her Tate in the new apt! We are all so happy to have him in Jackson.

We went to Pepsi Pops on the Reservoir last night & Hayes had a blast. We went with the Brown Bottling crew but ended up sitting right next to the Gross' & also by the Price's. The girls had a blast. Hayes wasn't real fond of the fireworks but she climbed in her daddy's lap & survived! Check out the dirt on her face.

She had a great birthday and birthday party. Despite the fact that we had over 20 little ones in my little house b/c of the wet ground, they were all very good & we had a blast. Check out the pictures of Tripp & Hayes. We are going to have to watch these two as they grow up. Also, finally a picture of all the McCarra babies!!! She can't quite reach the pedals on her tricycle from Nana & Papa but she sure did try! Thanks to all our friends & family that came to her party. Bryce & I truely appreciate everyone so much!

Bryce and I got to go to Las Vegas for the ACM awards show this past weekend! It was an all expenses paid trip from Dr. Pepper. I had never been to Vegas so I just had so much fun!!! We had tickets to a Cirque de Solei show on Friday night, a Sugarland & Blake Shelton concert Saturday night and tickets to the Academy of Country Music Awards show on Sunday night. There was also a all star jam after the awards show where Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellam, Montgomery Gentry & others sang a few songs each. I must say that Sugarland are unbelievable performers. If you have never seen then & even if you don't LOVE country, they are a must see. Here are a couple of pictures from my phone. I will download camera pics tonight!

We spent Easter in Clarksdale. We ate Easter lunch with Noni & Papaw. We went to an easter egg hunt & got to hang out with the Parolli family & Thomas family. Saturday night we cooked out with my parents, the Holder family, Pam & Pete, Peggy, Raney & Cade, James & his girlfriend & Tate & Chelsea. Hayes & Mitchell had so much fun. They played well together but of course Hayes took over Mitchell's food & then had to feed it to him all night. I love the one of them sitting in the chair together while she has HIS nose syringe inside HER nose. Nice! Also please notice that she "MADE" me wear her sunglasses while she wore mine so Bevo could take a "cheese" which is her word for picture. Lastly, sitting on top of her Easter lamb from Kiki and Ray Ray!
